If your church offers women’s retreats,
then you can understand the
importance of including women
in technical training.

production

I first got involved in production in 1976.  Since then, I've worked at television network, cable & broadcast facilities; video & film post-production facilities; professional, university & community theatres, professional lighting companies, and many different churches & ministries.

I've trained and mentored people all along the way, but it was during my time on staff as Production Manager of Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs that I began to formally set down my method.

I've developed in-depth training sessions in both Sound and Stage Lighting, focusing on psychovisual and psychoacoustical theory, specifically geared toward a worship service environment.

Simply put, I not only teach how to setup and operate the equipment, but—just as importantly— why we do what we do with Sound and Stage Lighting during a worship service or event.

These training sessions include colorful (and sometimes humorous) supportive graphics in PowerPoint format.  A few samples are below.

I also purchased, installed and set-up the main sanctuary stage lighting system for Mountain Springs Church's new facility in 2002, as well as portable lighting systems in their two smaller auditoriums.
